Volunteering at the Minster

Heritage Volunteers at King’s Lynn Minster

Help spread the word about the past and present of the King’s Lynn Minster!

King’s Lynn Minster has received funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to deliver heritage interpretation inside this historic church. This medieval church was noisy with activity and visitors from near and far. We want to bring that hustle and bustle back!

If you are passionate about history and want to share your enthusiasm with others, you will be the perfect fit for us! We need volunteer stewards to welcome visitors to the church and provide answers to questions about the building’s history. You will help us tell stories about historical characters connected to the Minster and point out the interesting features of the building. All training and information will be provided. You will also have the chance to take care of the church shop and help with events.

We hope to build an engaging and supportive community of volunteers passionate about the history of our church and the town. We will offer you support and encouragement, along with social events for all volunteers.

If you are interested in applying for the role, or would like to find out more, please Email Monika Saganowska, the Engagement and Development Worker, at activities@stmargaretskingslynn.org.uk or call the Parish Office on 01553 767555. We are looking forward to hearing from you!
